As an Artist, always connecting with the Earth for inspiration, my work has been evolving over the years. As a child I was very close to Nature. As a young adult I was drawn to environmental issues. I became consumed by fears for the planet. When carrying my first child (1989) I felt compelled to find a way to create a path towards a positive way of being, and hope, through my work. Throughout these chapters my relationship with the Earth has become both more intimate, and expansive. During a Vision Quest in 1993 I discovered a gateway into the Earth using my voice. On reflection I saw that all these years of focused observation served as a form of meditation and a portal into Spirit. Also that every place on Earth corresponds to a place within.
I have since developed tools in order to Journey more deeply: some influenced by Celtic, Native American, and Indian Traditions, crafted through experience and imagination. So much has opened for me that I feel bound and stirred to share these things, and assist others to find ways to create change in their lives, while simultaneously contributing in a positive way towards change needed this world, through developing a deeper sense of belonging. With the insight and inspiration offered through connecting to Nature we find our true selves, and our unique gift.
I hold sacred space in service to Nature and Spirit. Whether it is for individuals or groups,
we meet in a Circle, usually on the Land and around a Fire. We invite the Ancestors and many non human entities to accompany us, for the highest good, and in Love. Through our own stories and experiences we become aware of our place in the web of life, remembering our own inherent wisdom. In group work we have a chance to weave together our experience, and open to the unfolding Mystery of which we are part.
